How to Determine Your Skin Tone

Warm, cool, or neutral? Do you know what your skin tone is? Picking the right makeup for your skin can be challenging if you do not know what your skin tone is. So how do you determine your skin tone?

People with warm skin tones most likely tan easily and rarely burn. Another way to determine skin tone is “the vein test.” Do your veins look green in color or do they look more blue or purple? If they look green, you have a warm skin tone.

Whereas, people with cool skin tones burn easily in the sun. The veins on the inside of your wrist will appear blue or purple. 

If neither of these fit the description of your skin, you have a neutral skin tone. People with neutral skin tones have an easier time finding the right foundation shade.
