Semi-permanent Hair Color FAQ

Semi-permanent hair color is a great way to play around with your look without damaging your hair. Semi-permanent hair treatments don’t have ammonia or bleaching ingredients, therefore only coat the outer hair shaft - making it a gentle option to coloring your hair. 

Typically, semi-permanent color will last about 4-6 weeks. However, this depends greatly on how often you use shampoo and conditioner on your hair, the health of your natural hair, etc... Semi-permanent hair color is not used to cover gray, rather to blend gray or enhance natural color and it’s safe for immediate use after a relaxer or perm service, because semi-permanent hair color does not require mixing with a developer.
