Why Cosmetologists Wear Black Uniforms

You may have noticed that cosmetologists are always wearing black. There are multiple reasons why and when you learn why, it will all make sense!

The color black never goes out of style and looks good on every body type. 

Black attire is easy to find in a variety of styles.

Cosmetologists are often working with hair color and other things that may stain clothing, black will hide those stains more than any other color clothing. 

Black allows cosmetologists to see hair color better and provides a neutral color background.

How you put yourself together and wearing a uniform is a walking and talking billboard that is you and what you want your physical presentation to say. The way you dress reflects the type of work that you do. Make sure your clothing and accessories say something positive.
