We are so excited to announce this year’s winner of The Corinne’s Believer Scholarship is going to Cierra Copeland. The Ripley County Community Foundation (RCCF) awarded the scholarship to the South Ripley High School graduating senior on August 13th, 2020 in remembrance of Corrine’s Birthday.
Cierra is scheduled to attend Aveda Fredric’s Institute in Indianapolis later in October of 2020. She will be pursuing a career in cosmetology and is looking forward to expanding her knowledge within the world and beauty, fashion and wellness.
“I am looking forward to school and learning what I love most! I want people to be confident and be comfortable in their own skin! It means so much to me winning this scholarship. I want to make Corrine’s family proud. It means so much that I get to go to Aveda and carry on my dreams!”
The Corinne’s Believers Scholarship was established in 2012 to honor the short, but spirited life, of Corinne Lamping. Corinne had attended Aveda Fredric’s Institute of Indianapolis in 2010 where she conveyed her love and talent for cosmetology by satisfying every one of her guests.
“We have established this scholarship in honor of Corinne in an effort to help some young lady or gentleman achieve their lifetime dream of becoming a hairstylist,” Corinne’s mother Janice Lamping said. “We are excited for Cierra to begin her journey at Aveda, and wish her the very best for her future.”
