Esthetician School Requirements in Cincinnati

An Esthetician provides services focused on skin care including, but not limited to, skin treatments, facials, makeup application and hair removal. Esthiology is the study of skin care and related skin beautification, esthetics is the practice of it. This includes facials, body treatments, waxing, or even makeup applications.

To qualify for an Esthetics License in Ohio, you must attend a licensed school and complete the state of Ohio's minimum required training hours, and then take and pass the state's Esthetic board exams.

At Aveda Institute, it takes 26 scheduled weeks to complete the 750-hour Advanced Esthetics program (depending on consistent attendance). Throughout the year we offer a number of different schedules to let students choose the schedule that works for them!
