How Long is Esthetician School?

An Esthetician provides services focused on skin care including, but not limited to, skin treatments, facials, makeup application and hair removal. Being a licensed esthetician is a rewarding career for those that love to work with people, heal others, and educate their clients on healthy skin care techniques.

To qualify for an Esthetics License, you must attend a licensed school and complete the state’s minimum required training hours and then take and pass the state's Esthetic board exams. Depending on the state licensing requirements and whether you are a full or part time student, The amount of time to become a certified esthetician varies by state, and requirements can range from 260 to 1,000 hours.
